Wedding Overview + Intro
Please take the time to view the wedding portraits below. You’ll notice a lot of variety and great expressions.
After photographing over 700 weddings I know each wedding is unique. I work with you to be sure we capture your day.
I see a wedding as a love story between two people as well as a great opportunity to create the best set of portraits you, your family and friends have ever seen. A wedding wedding is a little bit like a play also. You’re the lead actors and I work with you before the wedding to be sure we have a good script. It’s very helpful especially when it comes to taking the formal family and bridal party portraits after the wedding services, because everyone knows were to be at what time and the order in which we take the formal portraits.
We include a pre wedding photo session (some use it as an Engagement sitting), an Expression Session, a complimentary digital image for the newspaper , 50% off regular sitting prices and an 8×10 portrait included in your package. At the session we’re able to have you practice a few poses and expressions; this helps me develop a better understanding of the types of portraits you prefer. It also helps us to get acquainted with each other.
Give us a call or email us and we’ll get together for a consultation. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Jen and Ryan had one of the best weather days in October we’ve ever had. They had put aside enough time for us to take a collection of outstanding outdoor portraits at the Palmyra Canal Park. The leaves were full of color, the sky clear and the ground was dry.
This was a great wedding – a renewal of vows, mouse over the show and click ‘Visit Gallery’:
A Note from Greg:
Karl, these are great pictures – thank you so much! This is far more than we could have asked for…there are so many beautiful shots here! Theresa was beaming when we got to look through some of them this afternoon (before they all finished uploading).

Outdoor wedding Despite a 2 inch downpour of everyone had a wonderful time. You’ll see in the gallery how the day started with some clouds then built to a full rainstorm as the Tara walked to the ‘alter’ in the rain! They came inside the tent when the rain was at it’s peak and the thunder was LOUD. You’ll see a nice collection of portraits including some beautiful portraits of their children.
BE SURE TO NOTICE THE CHANGE IN THEIR SON – he’s the ring-bearer –
Hint: What do you get when you put a little boy in a white tux and mix with rain and mud?
Bethany and Cole An outdoor service and indoor reception at Carey Lake – great variety of images. It’s very convenient for everyone when all the portraits are taken in one location.
A great day started at the bride’s house with photos of her, her family and the girls in the wedding party. Then I went to Carey Lake where both the wedding and reception was held.
Mallory and Scott I started at the home with the bride, family and the girls in the wedding party then I went to the church in Sodus Point to work with the groom, the groomsmen and his family. After the service we went back to the home then onto the reception at
Everyone met at the church. Adam and Amy were very well prepared and everything went perfectly.

ENGAGEMENT AND EXPRESSION SESSION - included in your wedding package is a session where we can practice some poses, see which expression you like the best and get to know each other a little bit. Amanda & Matt’s QUOTE: I thought it was fun, interesting and helpful. The photoshop was awesome!! We really enjoyed seeing it in B&W and loved how the border and type looked.
