Senior Portrait Overview

The 5 basic steps of a New Dimensions Sitting include:

1^st Consultation we find out what you want & explain the variety of services we offer. This takes about 10 to 30 minutes, maybe more if it’s an involved sitting.

2^nd Prep When you arrive for your sitting, we greet you at your car, help you bring things inside, then list outfits and plan the sets and props we’ll use. You’ll have a chance to relax and get ready. This takes about 10 to 20 minutes.

3^rdSitting & Expression Session we discover the range of poses and expressions you like. We take your portrait and talk about what you like and what you might like to do differently; like a bigger smile, fix hair. . . After a few practice portraits you FEEL MORE COMFORTABLE & RELAXED and are ready for the rest of your sitting.

4^th View your images after your sitting. We’ll enhance some of your images with retouching and special effects to show you examples of our services. We print a Proof Booklet for you to take home and put them on line. You can share them with your Facebook friends that day!! Then you come back in a couple of days to place your order.

5^th Order & Enjoy You can pick a package OR design your own package. It may seem complicated but it’s very simple – the more images you order – the less you pay per image: whether you order a “Package” or “Design Your Own Package”. You will see us crop your portraits; we discuss artwork, multi-pose images, finishes, frames and other options. You can see samples of our artwork: whiter teeth, slimmer hips, more hair, and how we can remove pierced items, wrinkles and blemishes.
